His company is focused on helping clients develop strategic safety plans that address everyday challenges. David has a unique blend of work experiences at OSHA, Duracell, Owens Corning, Fluor, and Peak Safety Performance. He has worked in the field on construction projects, managed safety on a plant level, and has lead corporate safety initiatives as a Corporate Safety Director. Each experience has given David insight on how to lead improvement on all levels of an organization. He understands the everyday struggles a safety professional experiences and he also knows what it feels like to overcome the challenges we all face. Lisa Lynn, Financial Controller and Instructor
Lisa is an experienced American Heart Association First Aid, CPR, and AED Instructor. She is also the Financial Controller at Peak Safety Performance. Lisa teaches 30 plus classes a year with clients in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. She is also coordinates all open enrollment safety classes for Peak Safety. As the Controller, Lisa manages all HR, accounting, and financial aspects of the business. She is a native of Golden, Colorado and a 1993 graduate of Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Giff Daughtridge is a retired executive from Nucor Steel with a proven track record of leading and transforming organizations to achieve safety excellence. For more than 40 years, Giff distinguished himself amongst his peers while serving as the Nucor Steel President of Sheet and Tubular Products, VP and GM of Nucor Steel Berkeley County, VP and GM of Nucor Steel Hertford, Shift Melt/Cast Supervisor at Phoenix Steel, and the Metallurgical Engineer at Lukens Steel. His full range of experience and passion for safety provides a unique operation’s perspective on the value of safety leadership and accountability at each level of an organization. He is a coach and mentor that has walked in your shoes!
Accomplishments Include: Giff led plant operations at Nucor Steel with an emphasis on high performing teams working perfectly safe. He was the Vice-President and General Manager of the first steel mill to ever earn the OSHA VPP designation. Now, Giff works with elite organizations to develop safety leadership traits that will transform a business. He is goal-oriented, mission-minded, and most importantly, Giff cares about each individual’s safety.

Jeffrey W. Johnston, PE, Environmental Subject Matter Expert
Jeffrey Johnston is a Peak Preferred environmental subject matter expert. He is an expert in environmental compliance, modeling, and treatment technologies, as well as analytics and quality systems. His 30 years of experience includes site-level management, public and private sector consulting, and corporate leadership roles. He graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, with continued post-graduate work in Civil and Chemical Engineering at NC State. Jeffrey brings a wide-ranging expertise in air quality (Title V, NSR/PSD, Part 60 & 75 QA, RMP), water quality (NPDES, treatment systems, stormwater, SPCC/FRP), hazardous waste management, and EPCRA/CERCLA reporting. He has hundreds of multimedia reviews, Title V permits, NPDES/POTW permits, and custom response plans (SPCC/FRP, RMP, PSM) under his belt for clients ranging from power generation to aerospace, petro-chemical, and general manufacturing.
Thomas Koenig, Subject Matter Expert for Mobile Equipment and Authorized OSHA Trainer for General Industry and Construction
Thomas Koenig is a Peak Preferred subject matter Expert with over 35 years’ experience. He is an expert safety trainer and auditor with the following credentials; Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer for Construction and General Industry, UST Master Trainer, NCCER Craft Instructor, and Peak Safety Master Trainer. He teaches a wide variety of safety classes such as but not limited to Forklift Operator Training, Aerial Lift Operator Training, Basic Level One Rigging, Competent Person Fall Protection, Competent Person Confined Space Entry, Competent Person Trenching/Excavation, Competent Person Scaffolding, and general OSHA 10/30 for general industry and construction.

Matt Hamrick, Subject Matter Expert NFPA 70E Arc Flash
Matt Hamrick is a Peak Preferred subject matter Expert for NFPA 70E Arc Flash training and assessments. He has performed over 200 NFPA 70E Arc Flash and Electrical Training classes throughout the United States and Canada. Hamrick has assisted in implementing electrical safety policies and procedures as a consultant for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 clients across the country. Clients include SEW Eurodrive, Sealed Air Corporation, Kellogg and Greif Packaging. Mr. Hamrick is a co-owner of Endeavor which is based in Greenville, SC. Before forming Endeavor, Matt worked for PDA Design Services, an engineering and design firm formerly located in Greer, SC that specialized in performance of Arc Flash Hazard Studies. Matt graduated from Lander University in Greenwood, SC in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Administration.
